Event News ~ March 15 Author Panel in Sarasota

Happy to share some very exciting news with you this morning! For those of you who may live in Southwest Florida or in particular, the Tampa Bay/Sarasota area, I want to tell you about an upcoming event worth checking out. It will be particularly intriguing for those who love to read and if you find genuine interest in exploring real characters and the internal and cultural battles they wage to be authentic.

I have been invited to take part in a special event hosted by the Selby Public Library in Sarasota at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 15. I, along with two other Florida authors, will be participating in an interactive panel called Writing the New Woman, part of the library’s ongoing Literary Sessions series. The event, which will take part in the Jack G. Geldbart Auditorium at the library, located at 1331 1st St. in Sarasota, will feature author readings, a moderator-led discussion about the various depictions of the modern woman in today’s fiction and an open Q&A with audience members who can pose questions to the three authors. I will be discussing Cate Mullen, my female protagonist in THE MUSE UNLOCKED and will be joined by authors Greg Bowdish (LOVE’S NAKED NATURE) and Anthony Paull (DESPERATION LINGERS) who will also be talking about the leads in their most recent novels, too, as well as answering moderator and audience-posed questions.

The event is FREE and I can’t wait to meet everybody and chat about this very worthwhile and fascinating topic. And yes, in case you were wondering, all of the authors will be selling signed copies of their books following the event. So be sure to plot a little trip to Sarasota two weekends from now. Look forward to seeing you there!
