Over the years, I have invited other writers to lend their voices to my blog as ‘guest bloggers’. They’ve tackled a variety of storytelling topics and shared their insight with my followers. It has given me a wonderful opportunity to shine the spotlight on some talented people and their work. Many of them have inspired, encouraged and in some cases, outright advised me over the years, and I’m all about paying it forward. I thought it time to update you on a few of them and some of their recent news, as well as give you a chance to check out links to their past guest blogs. I’ll be blogging about these folks over the next few weeks. I hope you’ll enjoy catching up with them again and support these awesome indie writers!
Elizabeth Weigandt
Elizabeth has guest blogged on my site a few times (as E.M. Wynter) and always has something fresh and relevant to say. I was so excited when she published her first book QUEEN BEE, a thoughtful adventure about a honeybee’s quest to save her dying hive. Recently, she emailed me about a new development I wanted to share here with my readers, straight from the author herself:
“I’m launching a new YouTube video series where I read aloud the stories submitted by youngsters. I hope you’ll agree these stories are refreshingly unique, fun and entertaining as only tales written by children can be. If you know of an educator or young person who would like to submit a story, feel free to forward this on or have them submit their story to eweigandt@yahoo.com. Additionally, if you know of a teacher, librarian or principal who would like me to visit their classroom either in person or via Skype, I’m always up for engagements and have plenty of free bookmarks to share. ”
