Inspiration. It’s the whole reason for this blog series all year. I’ve been hoping to inspire you to not settle for doing the same ole, same ole, every week and asking yourself from time to time why you operate as you do.
So this week, I want you to think about your own personal sources of inspiration. Maybe this is an easy question. I have a hunch that for most of you, it’s not something you ever really think about. I’m pushing you gently to become more conscious about who or what these sources are that motivate you in some way…to do what you do for a living and how you do it…to reach for the goals that you are currently striving to achieve…to be a better person…to get out of bed in the morning!
This week, I ask you:
What are your sources of inspiration and how do they inspire you?
I hope that you find this exercise to be an eye-opening one if you’ve never contemplated the subject before. And while you’re at it, if you are able to pinpoint particular people, here’s a thought: why not let them know what kind of impact they have on you? Aren’t the holidays a perfect time to do so? Forget the fruitcakes and gift cards (yes, please forget the nasty fruitcakes…blech), and instead give someone an unbelievable present – the satisfaction of knowing he or she has had a lasting impact on another human being. I can’t think of a better gift than that. No wrapping paper necessary.
I’ll be offering my own thoughts later in the week. As always, thanks for reading.
Cheers to finding that daily spark in your life!
~Chris
