Perhaps I should rename this your mid-weekly Kuhnspiration given the slight delay in its arrival…
This past weekend, I saw the movie Looper starring the increasingly delightful Joseph Gordon-Levitt (I really dig that actor these days) and the always reliable Bruce Willis.
I won’t give away plot points but the general idea behind the movie (and has been advertised) is this: imagine a time when you could go back to the past or into the future and communicate with yourself.
A groovy though not original concept; however, the way it is treated in this film is quite original, I think. I liked the movie a lot. But not only did I enjoy this concepts as it was carried out in the movie… I also thought what a lovely idea for one of my weekly creative thinking challenges.
So…this week’s question is:
If you could go back in time and talk to yourself at any point in your life, which YOU would you address and what would you tell him or her?
Remember: whatever you choose could have a direct impact on the rest of your life afterward and affect both the good things and bad things that happened as a result of that conversation not having taken place.
Share with me what your “scene” would look like and I’ll happily do the same. Look forward to peeking in to your thoughts.
Cheers to finding that daily spark in your life!
~Chris
