Book Signing News ~ Tallahassee, Here I Come!

Book Signing News ~ Tallahassee, Here I Come!

Guess who is homeward bound? Well, sorta!  Recently, I hinted that I had another book signing event lined up, and for a select few, I may have already whispered the news to them in a tweet. The timing couldn’t be more beautiful because right now this town is on fire following a very exciting and much deserved national college football championship. That’s right,  I’m headed to Tallahassee, Florida, home of THE BCS National Champions, Florida State University Seminoles’ college football team. Woot woot!  Ahem…. sorry. Perhaps this cheer would be more appropriate… GARNET!…. GOLD!… GARNET!…GOLD! I’ve certainly cheered it enough myself over the past three decades. Why is that, you ask? Because if you don’t already know, FSU is my alma mater! I am a 1992 FSU graduate, college of communications, not to mention a former longtime volunteer news announcer for the college campus’s radio station V89. Woot wo0t! Ahem…again, sorry.

You can imagine my surprise and delight since I have not lived in the Tallahassee area since 1992 when one of its awesome independently owned bookstores My Favorite Books contacted me about taking part in a book signing event for THE MUSE UNLOCKED. I couldn’t wait to returun to my old stomping grounds and their expressed enthusiasm for the book only made it that much easier to say “yes.”

So if you will be in the Tallahassee area or within a few hours’ drive in North Florida, nearby Georgia or Alabama, please come see me at My Favorite Books, located at 1415 Timberlane Rd. , Suite 313, in Tallahassee,  on Saturday, January 18. I will be joining another writer for a multi-author book signing event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

It will be a great time for all – you can enjoy some refreshments, meet all of the authors and browse the shop, pick up a copy of my book, chat with me a little bit and I’ll send you on your way with a personalized inscription inside.  How does that sound?

Look forward to seeing you soon!
