Eclectic and random may be the best two words to describe May’s #SongOfTheDay list. It seemed fairly compatible with my life during this past month. I haven’t been as interactive as I might like to be because life’s been a little hectic and busy these days. It seemed like I was always scurrying around somewhere, playing catch up on something and then facing fun things like family members having car accidents (not hurt thankfully), appliances dying unexpectedly and deadlines looming around every corner. I am thrilled to be diving into a new month. Believe me, I am. More than you know…

MAY 2016 — I had a blast looking back at the May list because there is clearly no pattern in my song selection which is a perfect songlist if you ask me. I chose according to the moods at the time. And sometimes it was a desire to hear some fierce ladies like Elle King and Norah Jones (yes, that’s her lovely face in the blog photo, if you are wondering) or a penchant for solo Beatles tunes. Overall, May is marked by a mix of genres and artists. Oh and then we also have that fun, recently added feature, #ForgottenTunes which also offered songs crossing the 70s and 80s from light and easy listening to jazzy pop to rock ballad to club dance mix. Enjoy, Friends. And for those of you in the Southern U.S. like me, good luck staying dry today. Colin has left his wake of rainstorms and flooding, that’s for sure. Be safe out there. xo ~ CK
