When I got tagged on my personal Facebook page by a friend and former newspaper colleague to take part in the latest circulating, tag-you’re-it activity, I was excited. I don’t usually react that way when I’m tagged. Most of the time, a bit ashamed to admit – I ignore tagged requests. But this one was different. This one was about…MOOOOOOOOVIES.
I think I might have squealed out loud when I saw the tag. Or maybe I meowed. (“You made a woman meow?” Hee. Yeah, you may see that one pop up on this list. Not sure yet.)
The latest group challenge demands the following of its participants:
If you know me, you know that asking me not to explain something or talk/type/write anything at all is like … well…it’s almost funny. (“Funny like I’m a clown, I amuse you? I make you laugh, I’m here to fuckin’ amuse you? What do you mean funny, funny how? How am I funny?” Heh. No, probably not that one. But it is a good film. *smirks*)
But okay, I can play along out there and will follow the rules. Mostly. I even tag-teamed 10 people on that first post showcasing my first pick (in no particular order). But that doesn’t mean I can’t talk about it HERE on my blog and in a little audio I posted via YouTube.
So I bring you no more than 5 minutes each gushing about Ten Flicks that Made a Big Impact on Me… first up, AMADEUS (1984). And thanks for reading (and listening, as always). x ~ Chris K.
