Your Weekly Kuhnspiration (November 26, 2012)

The year is winding down, and that means I’ll be taking suggestions for a new daily or weekly creative challenge that I can blog about during 2013. So if you have any ideas, be sure to leave a comment here or on my Facebook page. This year, I posed a question to you (and me) to get those wheels turning and encourage you to journal online or in one of your favorite blank notebooks that’s been gathering dust on the dresser. Hope that because of me you finally had a chance to use those journals! We still have a good handful of weeks to go, so you will have plenty of opportunities to use them further and I hope that you’ll continue to do so after this year-long Kuhnspirations creative blogging exercise.

I’ve taken part in some really interesting activities in the past. I’ve written a short story – one paragraph a day – and created a photo blog with a picture a day to represent the year. By year’s end, I had a very cool, unique image archive left to peruse. (That one was a lot of fun!) Last year, I tried something called Five to Try where I tried five new things each month – from cocktails to museums  to brand new experiences to try like…

… exploring an anchored WWII ship…

…taking a painting class…going on a hay ride! It was a lot of fun, too, and I highly recommend that one to anyone out there looking for a fun personal challenge to give yourself throughout 2013, learning and trying new things. You can only have knowledge and inspiration to gain from it, so it’s a win-win all the way. I urge you to consider taking on my Five to Try challenge for yourself in 2013.

For me, the new year is still an open canvas and I welcome your suggestions for a fun exercise to launch and blog about here. Thanks in advance!

But it is Monday and still 2012, so the Kuhnspiration challenges will continue! And that means it’s my job to pose another new question for the week ahead.

I thought we’d take a departure from the heady stuff. We’ve done enough introspection lately to last us a while. I heard that Barbara Walters has announced some of her own “most fascinating people for 2012” so I thought if Barbara can do it, why can’t some pop culture fanatics like us do it, too? This week’s Kuhnspiration question to you is…

Who would you feature in your own “10 Most Fascinated People of 2012” TV special?

See. I promised you nothing toooooo deep this week. Can’t wait to hear from you with your own list of featured guest stars. I’ll be sharing a sneak peek at my personal list and unlike Barbara, I won’t hold out on sharing the top spot. You’ll get the full list of ten!

Have a fun week, everybody. Good luck with your CyberMonday sales (I’ll be hitting the sites myself in a little bit…) And I’ll be back in touch later this week with an absolutely fascinating group of people. According to moi, that is.

Cheers to finding that daily spark in your life!

~Chris
